Brecon to Cardiff Winter Ultra (7th February 2021)

The Brecon to Cardiff Ultra is a one way fully marked 70k ultra run following the Taff Trail. It takes place in early February each year just in time for those new year resolutions. The route runs through the Brecon Beacons National Park past mountains, rivers, reservoirs and woodland taking in some great views. The course is fully marked, making this an ideal race for beginners looking to complete their first ultra or for experienced runners to post a fast time.  It is a UTMB qualifing race and is worth 3 points.

Vale Coastal Ultra, 18.5 mile and 10 mile Trail Races (28th March 2020)

Now in its 6th year the Vale Coastal Ultra takes in the entire 32 mile coast of the Vale of Glamorgan from the historic Penarth Pier to Ogmore-by-sea.  It is fast and (relatively) flat course that runs on a variety of cliff top trail, shingle and sandy beaches.  As you run along the coast on one side you will have the dramtic scenery of the Severn Estuary and the hills of North Devon and on the other the hills of South Wales!  There is also a 18.5 mile option that starts from Porthcery Park and joins the ultra route to finish at Orgmore, and a new for 2020 10 mile race from Llantwit Major to Ogmore .  It is a UTMB qualifing race and is worth 2 points.

The Dragon 100 & Dragon 50 Coastal Races (2nd & 3rd May 2020)
The Dragon 100 & Dragon 50 Coastal Races are long distance running events along the Wales Coastal Path. There is a choice of TWO distances - 100 miles from Rhossili Bay to Cardiff Bay OR 50 miles from Margam to Cardiff Bay. The routes are ideal for a first attempt at either distance or for a seasoned runner looking to post a quick time over some fast runnable trails. The route follows the Wales Coastal Path and passes through some stunning scenery including the Gower, Kenfig Sands, the Glamorgan Heritage Coast and parts of the Afan Forest. Both routes finish at Cardiff Bay after a run over the Cardiff Bay Barrage.

Brecon Beacons Mountain Trail Races (6th June 2020)
The Brecon Beacons Mountain Trail Races are two marked linear races crossing the Brecon Beacons from North to South. The route takes you to some new and unexplored trails as well as some Beacons classics! There are two race distances to choose from, either a 35 mile Ultra or a 26 mile Marathon. The route takes in mountain summits, steep ridges, rolling rivers, waterfalls, fast discents and is a true tour of the area!  Both events are FULLY MARKED.

SW100 - 'The Ultra Tour De Cymru'  (11th-13th September 2020)
The SW100 - The Ultra Tour De Cymru - is a 100 mile ultra trail footrace starting and finishing in Cardiff, crossing the South Wales Valleys and the Brecon Beacons. The route passes many famous landmarks, including castles, mountain summits, waterfalls and green rolling hills all linked by an amazing network of trails. The route has approximately 6000 meters of ascent and is over 90% on trails. It is a UTMB qualifying race and is worth 6 points.

SW50 - 'Brecon to Cardiff Summer Ultra' (12th September 2020)
The South Wales 50 is a fully marked mountain trail ultra in the Brecon Beacons and sourrounding South Wales Valleys. The Brecon to Cardiff Ultra Trail Race is the summer mountain version of the highly popular winter Brecon to Cardiff ultra. As the weather is more dependable we leave the low level Taff Trail and head over the mountain peaks! What results is an amazing trail running route with mixed and varied terrain through some stunning mountains, valleys, and rolling runnable trails. It is a UTMB qualifying race and is worth 3 points.

Celtic Christmas Trail Races - Ultra, 20miler, Half Marathon (19th December 2020)
The third running of our Celtic Trail Races are three exciting trail running races following the old high level route, the 'Coed Morgannwg Way'. The Coed Morgannwg way is a dramatic route following ancient tracks of Celtic origin, with amazing views across the Brecon Beacons, The Black Mountain, South Wales Valleys and South Wales Coast.  The route goes through woodlands, pastures, moorland and mountainsides.  It is a fast, fun, runnable route following some of Wales hidden trails.  It is a fully marked course with running arrows, flags and tape at all junctions and turns. Can you conquor 'Grinches Field' or will you choose the 'Christmas Fairy mile' instead!

Pembrokeshire Coastal Races (May 2021)
With 3 race distances to choose from along Britains only Coastal National Trail the question is - which one will you go for!  The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is a well marked trail hugging what is widely regarded as the most breathtaking and beautiful coastline in Britain!  The 100mile race is a challenging non-stop ultra race from Dale to St Dogmaels, it is a UTMB qualifying race worth 5 points.  The 3 day stage race follows the same 100 mile route, but is split over 3 single stage sections with an overninght camp between each section.  The Pembrokeshire 180 is the whole coast path from Amroth to St Dogmaels split over 5 days.

Gower Coastal Races (17th October 2020)

The Gower Coastal Trail Races are 3 long distance events following the Wales Coastal Path around the beautiful Gower Peninsula. 
The Gower Ultra 50 race is a complete 50 mile circumnavigation of the peninsula, the Gower Ultra Bach (Little) follows the final 34 miles of coast line from the small settlement of Llandimore to the Mumbles and new for 2019, the Gower Trail Race follows the final 23 miles of the Gower Ultra route from Rhossili to Mumbles.
