SW100 & SW50
The SW100 is a 100mile ultra trail footrace starting and finishing in Cardiff, and crossing the South Wales Valleys and the Brecon Beacons. WARNING - This is a tough course, with only 25% of participants completing the course in 2016!
"that race is simply "insane" and must be one of the hardest 100 milers in Europe if not further afield".
The SW50 is the second half of the SW100 route starting from the Pont ar Dawe Car Park at the foot of Pen y Fan then running to Cardiff, it has over 3200 meters of ascent.
"I found the 50 mile version harder than a recent 100 mile race I completed a few weeks ago"
