)- Harvey Brecon Beacons BMC Mountain Map
)- OS Landranger 160 Brecon Beacons/Bannau Brychiniog.
)- OS Explorer OL12 Brecon Beacons National Park West (note this does not have the summit of Tor Y Foel on, but has the rest of the route)
)- A good quality colour copy of any of the above maps - remember this must be waterproofed or in a waterproof case.
****GPS device with the route on it may be a watch, or handheld unit, or phone app. The device must have sufficient battery life to last total duration of the event- and spare batteries to charge the device are required. Please ensure you are able to use it and have tested it in a variety of conditions. Please note mobile phone apps are only suitable in dry conditions as often the touch screens are unusable. We therefore recommend using a gps watch or hand held unit and having the mobile phone app as a safety backup / spare.
